While some schools have successfully implemented the citizenship curriculum,
some schools failed to take the citizenship curriculum seriously
due to the lack of commitment from the leaders,
insufficient teacher training and its uncertain place in the curriculum.
From the experience of those more committed schools,
introducing citizenship is both worthwhile and can be fulfilled,
because citizenship can address core skills, attitudes, and values
among young people in a changing world.
