In England, people often talk about the weather because they can feel four seasons in one day. In
the morning the weather is warm just like in spring. An hour later black clouds come and then it
rains hard. The weather gets a little cold. In the afternoon the sky will be sunny, the sun will
begin to shine, and it will be summer at this time of a day.
In England, people can also have summer in winter, or have winter in summer. So in winter they can
swim sometimes, and in summer sometimes they should wear warm clothes.
When you go to England, you will see that some English people usually take umbrellas or raincoats
with them on the sunny morning, but you should not laugh at them. If you don’t take an umbrella or
a raincoat, you’ll feel sorry later.
In China, students have seven lessons in the day—four in the morning and three in the afternoon.
They start school at 7:30, and the students of grade seven usually have math, Chinese and English.
Morning lessons usually finish at 11:30. In the afternoon, students began their school at about
1:30 and school is over at 5:00 in winter. In the afternoon, they usually have PE, music, art,
history and other outdoor activities. They play basketball and football on the playground. They have
homework to do in the evening.
In the UK, children have five lessons in the day and finish school at half past three in the
afternoon. After school they go swimming, play football, have music lessons and play with their
friends. They also do homework like you!
